Tommy Lee Revives 'Tommyland' With Fresh Reissue and New Tracks

The Mötley Crüe drummer confronts blurred lines of reality while delivering an expanded edition of his 2005 solo album packed with new mixes and bonus content ahead of fresh band music.

Tommy Lee dove deep into the uncertainties of modern creation to resurrect his 2005 solo album in a bold new form.

The Mötley Crüe drummer found himself questioning authenticity while navigating fresh production tools for the project.

"Tommyland Rides Again" reworks the original "Tommyland: The Ride" and reaches digital platforms May 22, 2026, through 604 Records and BMG.

CD and vinyl versions arrive August 21, 2026, complete with new Dolby Atmos mixes shaped by Lee and engineer Smiley Sean.

The edition adds the bonus track "Stupid World" featuring Chad Tepper along with a new high-definition video for "Good Times" featuring Butch Walker.

Tommy Lee, Mötley Crüe drummer, described the effort directly. "Tommyland Rides Again — a reimagined reissue of 2005 Tommyland: The Ride hitting digital platforms for the first time with brand new bonus track “Stupid World (feat. Chad Tepper)”"

He reflected on the strange climate surrounding music today.

"Nobody knows what's real anymore," Lee noted while explaining how he explored every sonic option available.

The release surfaces as Lee anticipates new material from Mötley Crüe.

Original tracks gain fresh clarity through the Atmos mixes that place drums and vocals in a three-dimensional space impossible in 2005.

Listeners will hear the same raw energy yet experience greater depth and movement across every song.

Chad Tepper brings a current edge to the new bonus cut "Stupid World."

Butch Walker returns for the updated visual treatment of "Good Times," refreshing a track that already captured Lee's playful side.

The project marks the first digital arrival of the album in this expanded state.

Physical editions will appeal to collectors who want both the Atmos mixes and tangible formats.

Lee has always tested boundaries, whether through his drumming or solo experiments outside the band.

This edition continues that pattern by blending nostalgia with present-day technology.

Fans can expect the same irreverent spirit that defined the 2005 record while enjoying upgraded sound and added content.
