Tommy Lee Questions Reality in Revived 'Tommyland'

The Mötley Crüe drummer expands his 2005 solo album with fresh mixes and a new track ahead of the band's 33-date summer tour.

Tommy Lee confronts a world where nothing seems real anymore as he unveils an expanded edition of his solo album.

The Mötley Crüe drummer spent time in his Los Angeles studio crafting new Dolby Atmos mixes for the project, which features 12 tracks and adds the bonus song Stupid World with Chad Tepper.

Digital release arrives May 22, 2026 via 604 Records, with physical formats following August 21.

"I mean, nobody knows what's real anymore, whether it's a photograph or a video, a political statement or...just everything."
Tommy Lee, Mötley Crüe drummer

Lee's children sparked the idea during a recent listen, pushing him to bring the material back into the spotlight.

The original Tommyland: The Ride peaked at No. 62 on the Billboard 200 when it arrived in 2005.

This refreshed version lands just as the band prepares for The Return of the Carnival of Sins! 2026 North American summer tour.

Thirty-three dates begin July 17 across amphitheaters, marking the group's 45th anniversary and the tour's 20th anniversary.

Lee predicts the timing will lead to new Mötley Crüe music as well.
